MUD PACK CHALLENGE

I'm very proud to be working with The Hospice of St Francis where my role is Course Designer for the The Mud Pack Challenge, annual obstacle course event in the beautiful grounds of Ashridge House, Berkhamsted.

As a personal trainer, outdoor fitness training is something I am very passionate about so to be involved in this OCR event is a huge tick in my job satisfaction!

Here's a testimonial from the organisers…

"I’d like to thank Paul for the commitment he gives to The Hospice of St Francis as contractor, and course designer, of our Mud Pack Challenge.

The idea of Mud Pack started in 2013 following an informal chat with Paul (my then Boxing Teacher).  I knew he liked participating in commercial muddy events and I’d recognised there was great potential for growth in this area and space in our events portfolio, and after some further meetings, the Mud Pack Challenge emerged.

Over the years, Paul has created a superb, unique and exciting, wet and muddy course, transforming one of England’s most historic, beautiful 18th Century gardens, Ashridge House, into a 21st Century, vibrant, energetic 5-mile adrenaline-fuelled, natural and man-made obstacle course. Post-event, Paul does his magic to return the grounds to their original status: the mud and water naturally seeping into the ground, leaving little trace that we’d even been there.

The event, now in its sixth year having raised over £720,000, has helped increase awareness of The Hospice of St Francis, introducing and engaging new individuals and businesses to our work.

A muddy load of thanks Paul!"
